D.Gray-Man - 2006
D.Gray-Man just ended a few weeks ago (Oct 2008). Sob sob.. :(
No news as yet but I am crossing my fingers and hoping for a Movie/OVA/New Season or whatever of D Gray Man.
To be frank, at first, I almost wanted to drop this anime. The 1st Stage (1st Season) is super duper slow. Too much talking and the fighting is a bore. However, I like Kanda so I decided to continue for Kanda's sake.. ^^
Thank God I like Kanda.. The 2nd Stage (2rd Season, Episode 52 onwards) is very enjoyable. It is funnier, the fighting is more intense and exciting, slightly less talking and I grow to like Lavi more..
The appearance of General Cross at the end also brings D.Gray-Man to a new level. He's a very interesting character.
Even though the 1st stage is a bore, I think it's still good to watch it. You will better appreciate Stage 2 that way.
I would recommend to all who likes Shonen fighting anime.
Favorite Characters: Kanda and Lavi
Nabari no Ou - 2008
A Ninja Anime.
Nabari no Ou is more than just Ninja fighting. It's actually quite a serious anime and it touches on the history of almost all the important characters (Miharu, Yoite, Kumohira, Raikou, Raimei and etc) - good for me as I love to know the past so that I can better understand why a certain character behaves in a certain way..
In terms of animation art,I like the way the background is drawn and colored.. it's really kirei (beautiful) ne..
Favorite Character: Miharu (He's a real Devil. ^^ I like the way he acts innocent too. )
Vampire Knight - 2008
Vampire Knight is interesting and at the same time, intriguing. To some, this is a Shojo anime (yea.. there are many girls going crazy over good looking vampires) but to me, Vampire Knight is more than that.
The 3 main characters are Yuki Cross, Kaname and Zero Kiryu.
In Season 1, they touch on the history of my favorite character Zero Kiryu (he's so so cool.. ^^) The history of the other 2 characters are still unknown (well.. I don't read the manga so you can't expect me to know).
After finishing Season 1, I still do not know what's up with Kaname (yup.. that Manipulative Pureblood Vampire).
Season 2 (Vampire Knight Guilty) just started a few weeks ago and so far.. ermm.. Zero is still as cool as ever.. ^^
If you like Vampire stuff, you should watch it. The school uniform featured in Vampire Knight is really cute so that may also give you some idea for Cosplay ;)
Favorite Character: Zero Kiryu (My one and only Vampire-sama.. )
