Kurokami Episode 2

The animation and action sequences are great but the plot so far, is average. When there's no action, it gets really boring and I have to pinch myself to stay awake.

Keita is quite a wimp so far. There's this part where he nervously calls the police in front of the bad guy, Seiji. As a result, he gets himself 'killed'. (=.=) Also, he's quite fickle-minded. He chases Kuro out of the house, and then goes around looking for her. I don't hate him but don't like him either.

Summary
This episode begins with Seiji killing the guy who tried but failed to capture Kuro in the previous episode. Seiji wants to capture Kuro as he wants to consume her Tera.

The focus then switches to Keita. He looks depressed wherever he goes. When he reaches home, he's surprised to see an unknown person in the kitchen, eating cabbage. Upon second look, that person is Kuro. Kuro is starving and Punipuni follows Keita's smell and manages to find his house. Kuro then collapses from hunger outside his door. Akane finds her outside the door and decides to bring her into the house. Keita does not wish to associate with Kuro and chases her out. He also asks Akane to leave.

After both girls have left, Keita seems worried about Kuro starving. He decides to go find her. He manages to find her in a park. He then passes the Onigiri Akane bought to her. While she's eating, he asks her about the 'Doppeliner' system. She explains to him that in this world,
every being receives the same amount of Tera. However, the Tera is shared unequally among 3 persons with the same looks. If two of them meet, they die. The remaining luck and fate of the two go to the remaining person, called Master Root, giving him or her unimaginable good luck.

Then, suddenly, Seiji and a group of men appear. Seiji is actually a Tribal End. He has killed 4 Mototsumitama thus far, and is aiming to kill Kuro to boost the statistics. Kuro and him engage themselves in an intensive fight. Due to the Tera he has absorbed from the 4 Mototsumitama, Seiji is able to use Exceed. His Exceed is invisible so Kuro has trouble fighting him. Keita tries to call the police but is immediately 'killed' by Seiji. Kuro uses that opportunity to give Seiji a big punch, and she quickly brings Keita to another location. Keita is bleeding excessively and Kuro has no choice but to save him by creating a contract between him and her. After the contract is formed, a red logo appears on his right hand and a similar logo appears on Kuro's left hand.

After successfully saving Keita, Seiji appears. Again, he uses his invisible Exceed to attack Kuro. Kuro is totally pawned initially but she manages to find the opportunity to use her Exceed on Seiji. After that, the logos on Kuro's and Keita's hands seem to synchronize and Kuro's power increases. Using that power, she manages to win Seiji. However, Keita faints immediately after.
