Kannagi Crazy Shrine Maidens Episode 13 End

Finally, it's the last episode. I'm glad it's over. It's been very tedious to watch.
The first few episodes were quite entertaining and funny but after that, the series start to get boring.

The last episode is slightly better than the previous 2 episodes, which were too serious, slow and drama-ish. Seriously, I can't stand Jin looking emo all the time. If not for Tsugumi's tongue-lashing, Jin would still be looking emo.

Tsugumi’s love for Jin often goes unnoticed. Despite that, she still cares a lot for him. It's sad that she has to see Jin, on top of a naked Nagi. (=_=;)

Plot: 6/10
Characters: 6/10
Entertainment Level: 5/10
Animation: 8/10

My favorite characters are Akiba and Tsugumi. I like Akiba because he's funny. He brightens up the whole series. As for Tsugumi, I find her the most likable among the 3 main female characters. I admire her unconditional care and concern for Jin.

Given the way Kannagi Crazy Shrine Maidens end, I'm quite sure there will be a 2nd Season. If there is, I won't be following. The storyline simply does not interest me. (¬_¬)

Episode 13

Jin has resigned to losing Nagi. He gives up searching for Nagi. His attitude p*sses Tsugumi off. She gives him a tongue-lashing.

The tongue-lashing works and Jin goes around looking for Nagi and finally, he finds her.

Remember the obaasan in the previous episode? She has passed on and her young spirit returns to talk to Nagi and Jin. She confirms that Nagi is the goddess of Kannagi. Nagi also feels that she's a goddess but her memories are very vague. Jin expresses his belief in her, no matter what.

Nagi returns home and the first thing she does is to bathe.

While Nagi is taking her bath, Jin is feeling the heat. He's thinking of Nagi lustfully.

Nagi forgets to bring a new set of clothes into the bathroom. She wraps herself using a towel and walks out of the bathroom. Jin happens to be outside. Things happen and Jin is on top of a naked Nagi. He gets to see almost everything.

Just when Jin is about to confess his feelings for Nagi, Tsugumi appears.

She's totally Shocked!

She runs off crying. (poor Tsugumi!)

Jin gets what he deserves!

Kannagi Crazy Shrine Maidens Episode 12

Ending Illustration

This episode is so boring that I have nothing much to comment on. (o`ะท´o)

The only part that is worth mentioning is Zange single-handedly fights off 3 guys! Other than that, the rest is just plain boring.

I may drop this soon. Zzz..(u_u)

Episode 12

Daitetsu finds Nagi's magic wand on the rooftop and passes it to Jin.

Jin asks this old couple about Kannagi Shrine. They belong to one of the 5 families who manage Kannagi Shrine. There were ancient documents about the Shrine but were destroyed in a fire a long time ago. No one knows much about who the god of Kannagi Shrine is.They tell Jin that obaasama may know something about it.

They bring Jin to obaasama. Obaasama says that she's grateful to Kannagi sama. Kannagi sama has saved many people who tried to hang themselves during war time.

Zange is at the street seeking for confessions. However, she bumps into 3 nasty guys.

Shockingly, she fights them off very easily! (What a powerful wrist she has!)

Watching how Zange fight from a corner, Jin is absolutely shocked!

He looks for Zange to ask her about Nagi. He wants to know if they are real goddess.

Zange says that it's a secret. She then says that she only knows she needs to exterminate the impurities that are harmful to Kannagi village. Other than that, she's not sure. (same reply as Nagi)
However, she's not bothered at all because she believes that she's a god.
As for Nagi, she says she's not sure as her method of taking form is special. The sacred wood is full of powers and attract other spirits. Hence, other spirit may be pretending to be Nagi. (this is obviously backstabbing!)

Jin returns home but finds no one at home. He finds a note which says 'Sorry Jin, I was lying all along.'

Jin stays up the whole night waiting for Nagi. Before leaving for school the next morning, he leaves a message for her on the same piece of paper. It says 'Stay at home after you come back. I won't get mad'.

Jin goes around the school and Nagi's favorite places to look for her.

However, he can't find her and feels depressed.

Kannagi Crazy Shrine Maidens Episode 11

Ending Illustration

After watching 11 episodes of Kannagi Crazy Shrine Maidens, I feel as if I'm back to square. Jin is doubting whether Nagi is a real god and Nagi is not even sure about what's happening. (¬_¬)

This episode has a more serious mood, very different from the usual lightheartedness.

Not that I don't like its seriousness, but it's just that I feel that this series is going round in circles and the plot is progressing very slowly. I'm getting bored already. Zzz..(u_u)

This is so misleading!! I think we have enough debate over her 'purity' issue.

Episode 11

Nagi hasn't been exorcising impurities. She finally decides to start again. She seeks Jin's help. While trying to help Nagi with the exorcism, Jin falls out of the window and is injured. Other than suffering from injuries, he's also being called a bi-sexual, homosexual and 3-timer at school. (Poor Jin)

Jin is fed up with the unwanted attentions at school, which are primarily caused by Nagi. Jin demands an apology from her. In addition, he wants her to clarify several uncertain issues ie. the occurrence of impurities in Kannagi village.

Frustrated with not being able to answer Jin's questions, she cries and runs away.

Jin bumps into Suzushiro-sensei and confides in him. He also consults Suzushiro-sensei about Nagi.

Being in a similar situation with Zange, Suzushiro-sensei can understand how Jin feels. He thinks that Nagi and Zange may be uncertain about their own identity. He feels that they may be just speaking of gods solely for their own ends, or they may have falsely believed themselves to be gods.

Nagi is at the rooftop. She feels sad, confused and frustrated.

Meanwhile, after talking to Suzushiro-sensei, Jin heads to the school library to do a research on the Kannagi village's god. However, the identity is still officially unknown.

Kannagi Crazy Shrine Maidens Episode 10

It's Karaoke time!! This episode reminds me of how long I've not sang Karaoke. It's been 3 long months! After my beginner Japanese test this weekend, I must definitely go sing Karaoke! (*^o^*)

As expected, Jin is tone deaf. However, I'm a little surprised Zange can't sing too. The others are either good or average.

Last week, there's some indication that Jin may like Tsugumi. But this week, Jin totally ignores Tsugumi. He even rejects her request to sing duet. He prefers singing duet with Daitetsu! (¬_¬)

The EP is the theme of Shirigiya Supermarket. What's that?! Well, I'm not sure too but I know Nagi can sing the song! ^-^b

Episode 10

Everyone is seated in the Karaoke room except for Jin. When he's about to move towards Tsugumi, Zange asks him a question and he ends up sitting with Zange.

Tsugumi loses in Scissors, Paper, Stone so she has to sing first.
She has a slightly below average singing voice.

Daitetsu sings next. He chooses a ballad. It's his first time singing and he sounds good.

Jin is very impressed by Daitetsu!

Akiba is next. He wants to choose a Pop song but Takako wants him to sing his most recommended anime song.

Akiba sings 'Run away with you' - an insert song from Youjyu Kishin Chaos Blade. It's an OVA from 15 years ago.

Though Akiba sings well, everyone feels lukewarm about the song. None of them knows the song.

The lukewarm response makes Akiba very angry.

It's Jin's turn to sing. Tsugumi offers to sing duet with him but he firmly rejects her.

Jin nervously holds the microphone and starts singing.

Jin is bad at singing.

Nagi is after Jin. She sings 'The Song of Hello Soybeans' from Dokkoi Foods. It's an advertisement song. She sounds good but the song is a little off.

Everyone is expressionless.

Other than advertisement songs, Nagi also knows the theme of Shirigiya Supermarket.

When Takako holds the microphone, she transforms into another person. She sings 'Jyun Ai Generation'. It's a very cute song. Takako sings and dances very well. (It's a little weird to see her making cute gestures)

The others find her good but disgusting. They can't believe that she has an anime voice.

Lastly, it's Zange. She dedicates her song to Jin. It's called 'Love me delicately please'.

Her singing is bad but she looks cute.

While singing, Zange starts flirting with Jin. Tsugumi tries to stop her.

After Zange's turn, Takako suggests a second round of duets only. Tsugumi wants to sing duet with Jin but before she can even ask him, Jin has already asked Daitetsu to sing duet with him.

After Karaoke, Jin realizes that Shino sempai is the only one who did not sing.

Takako reveals that when Shino sings, she opens her eyes.
Shino then turns around and opens her eyes. Everyone but Takako looks shocked.
