07-Ghost Episode 8

There's only one reason I LOVE this episode - Evil Mikage looks SO HOT!! Mikage in his normal mode is already my favorite character in this series. Mikage in evil mode is simply too cool!!

Story-wise, this episode is very predictable. I was only a little shocked to see Frau in his other form. I didn't quite expect to see it so soon. Is that his ghost form? Hmm... I believe this is one of the reasons why this series is called 07-Ghost.

Anyway, Teito is FINALLY free from his chains!! Those chains must be very special since Aya-tan needs a controller to break it. It's cool to see the Eye of Mikhail in action again. Teito looks really badass with his red glowing eyes. I can't wait for the battle between badass Teito and Evil Mikage!!

Mini Summary
Mikage is slowly but surely losing control. When he's alone in the garden, he suddenly hears Aya-tan's voice and starts to get headaches. The pain and stress given by Aya-tan are so unbearable that Mikage yells. Upon hearing Mikage's voice, Teito rushes to where Mikage is. Mikage reveals to Teito that he was being controlled all along. Mikage starts having flashbacks about Aya-tan. He recalls the time when Aya-tan asked him to choose between his family and Teito and if Mikage were to choose both, he will die. In the end, Aya-tan chose to make Mikage half-alive. Mikage knows that he will very soon be fully controlled by Aya-tan, and so he pleads Teito to kill him before that happens but Teito simply can't. Since Teito refuses to kill him, he urges Teito to run away immediately. Of course, Teito stays put as he simply can't leave his best pal alone suffering. Just before Mikage loses control over himself, he bids farewell to Teito and Aya-tan takes over. Evil Mikage's zaiphon turns red, and he attacks Teito. Fortunately, Castor's doll, which is watching over them, shields Teito. Castor's doll is destroyed and Castor, along with Frau and Labrador, is alerted. Frau decides to go rescue the boys and let the other two take care of the mass.

Teito runs as fast as he can away from Evil Mikage's attack but Evil Mikage is too strong. Teito finds an isolated place but Evil Mikage manages to get there ahead of him. Evil Mikage shows his wings, and Teito thinks that he's a Kor. However, Evil Mikage reveals that he's not as lowly as a Kor. Evil Mikage starts his attack and he's so fast that Teito can't even capture his movements. Evil Mikage tries to put a controller around Teito's neck but suddenly, Teito falls. After that, Teito takes out his cloak and prepares to counterattack. He aims for Evil Mikage's wing, thinking that it will free Mikage's soul but Evil Mikage easily dodges his attack and reveals that if his wings break, Mikage's soul will never return and his body will die.

Meanwhile, while Frau, in ghost(?) form, is looking for the boys, he gets harassed by a bunch of spirit women. He asks them for the boys' location, and they tell him where. He then proceeds to go to the place right away.

Evil Mikage is finally able to put the collar on Teito and Teito's chains are FINALLY removed. Teito thinks that Aya-tan may let Mikage go if he threatens to kill himself, but as if Aya-tan will fall for that. Evil Mikage takes advantage of the power of the collar, and binds Teito. This causes Teito to be unconscious for a little while and when he wakes up again, the Eye of Mikhail awakens and his entire body is under control.

Pictures

Poor Mikage is in pain

He pleads Teito to kill him or to run away.

Evil Mikage!!

Castor's doll to Teito's rescue

Teito is no match for Evil Mikage.

So hot!! He looks better with his jacket unbuttoned!

Frau in his ghost(?) form

He seems to have more luck with girls when in this form. LOL

With this controller, Teito is finally free from the chains. (The controller looks a lot like the Eye of Mikhail -.-||)

Teito is in a pinch and the Eye of Mikhail awakens again!

I'm not sure why Evil Mikage is crying. Is it because Mikage has not completely disappeared yet?

Teito with glowing red eyes!

Eden of the East Episode 8

Akira is a very interesting character. His multiple identities really make me wonder what kind of a person he was before he lost his memories. I bet he's as cheerful as now and I also think he must be a very confident person since he's confident enough to erase his own memories and let himself without memories continue with the works of a Selecao. As for now, for someone who has no memories, I think he's a little too trusting. I'm a little shocked when he actually tells Pantsu about himself being a Selecao and there are 12 Selecao in total. Also, I find it even more shocking that Pantsu thought that there were 11 Selecao. Doesn't that mean that he already knew a little about Selecao?

I'm looking forward to the next episode. I’m sure Pantsu will produce something interesting with the phone. I only hope he won't backstab Akira.

Mini Summary
After having a nightmare about Shiratori ripping apart a Johnny, Akira wakes up to find Saki beside him. She reassures him that Oosugi is okay and she lies about having not seen anyone when she got to the hotel room. Meanwhile, Oosugi returns to Eden of the East, and he reveals that he was invited to a drinking party and his bag was stolen that night. Oosugi is still suspicious of Akira, and he tells the members that he won’t be joining them if they partner with Akira. On his way out, Oosugi happens to see Saki and Akira arriving together below him, he then takes a picture of Akira and uploads to Eden's program, hoping to find out his identity.

When Akira arrives at the Eden of the East, he notices on his phone that Shiratori has paid a lot of money to have all evidence at the hotel destroyed. The members want to ask him about what happened but instead, Akira asks them if they can repair a Selecao phone (which belonged to Kondo). Hirasawa suggests he go visit Itazu aka Pantsu, a computer prodigy, who has shut himself in his room for two years, and he sends Saki and Micchon with Akira to keep an eye on him. They eventually arrive in Kyoto and at Itazu’s home. He doesn’t open the door for them, but instead, talks to them through a peephole. When he sees Micchon and Saki, he asks them to buy some magazines for him. He then insists that he's too busy with all that’s been going on with the NEETs, Careless Monday, the prime minister, and etc, and so he has no time to entertain Akira. After Saki and Micchon leave, Akira arouses Itazu’s interest by telling him about Selecao and revealing that he is one, and Itazu eventually lets him in.

Meanwhile, back in Tokyo, Oosugi checks on Akira's picture and finds out that the users identify Akira by different names and aliases. He decides to investigate Akira’s shopping mall, and then he concludes that Akira is involved with something unthinkable.

Pictures

Akira dreams about Johnny.

Oosugi is safe and sound.

I wonder how he managed to retrieve his bag since all evidence is supposedly to be erased.

Oosugi sees Akira with Saki again and he's jealous again.

Hirasawa advises Akira to ask Pantsu regarding his phone repair.

It's tough to deal with a hikikomori. I can understand why Micchon can't stand Pantsu.

Akira tells Pantsu about Selecao.

Pantsu (He's as weird as I imagine him to be >.>)

Akira's multiple identities

Oosugi thinks that Akira must be a criminal.

Pandora Hearts Episode 8

I never really feel that Break is scary. However, in this episode, he looks freaking scary. Also, I wonder how he can appear and disappear out of nowhere. Is it his Chain's power?

This is an enjoyable episode for a few reasons. First of all, most of the major questions that we had are answered. It's great that we are finally getting closer to what 'Will of the Abyss' is. The second reason is Break. Though he looks freaky, he has quite a good sense of humor. The final reason is Alice. Among all the new female characters this Spring Season, I find her the coolest. The way she freaks out when she sees Break coming out from under her bed is funny.

Mini Summary
While Oz and Alice are sleeping, Gil moves them away from the mansion to his house in the Capital. Break pays them a visit and reveals to them the secret behind his youthful appearance and the reason why Oz is valuable to both Pandora and the Baskervilles. The secret behind Sharon and Break's youthful appearance is they are contractors. However, unlike Oz, they are legal contractors and thus they do not have a clock seal on their chest. One drawback is they do not age physically but they do die like normal human beings. According to Break, he may have less than a year of life remaining. As for why Oz is valuable to both Pandora and the Baskervilles, it is because they believe that Oz is the key to obtaining the 'Will of the Abyss'.

After Break leaves, Oz suddenly feels pain on his chest. Though Break is already outside the house, he can sense that Oz's clock has just begun to move. While Oz is in pain, a cute girl in blue clothes appears and places a bouquet of flowers and a letter on the floor. After she leaves, Oz's pain lessens and he realizes that the clock has begun to move. Though he's worried about it, he decides not to tell Gil.

Since everyone, especially Alice, is hungry, they decide to go buy food. Alice insists on buying meat, and so Gil has to follow along and leave Oz alone with his hat. After buying meat, Alice asks Gil about what parents are. Gil does not really know how to answer and so Alice decides to ask Oz about it instead. Gil insists that she does not do so as Oz's parent's story is a delicate subject for Oz. Since Alice is not supposed to ask Oz, she threatens Gil to tell her everything about it, if not she will ask Oz herself. Meanwhile, Oz saves a young boy from a gang of bullies. The young boy asks Oz about his parents and this causes Oz to start thinking about his childhood and specifically his parents.

Pictures

Alice just wakes up and takes a few seconds to register that.

(v.v) Oz's clock seal has begun to move.

Oz saves the boy! (Oz looks pretty cool in the hat.)

The young boy asks about Oz's parents and this makes Oz depressed.
