Eden of the East Episode 8

Akira is a very interesting character. His multiple identities really make me wonder what kind of a person he was before he lost his memories. I bet he's as cheerful as now and I also think he must be a very confident person since he's confident enough to erase his own memories and let himself without memories continue with the works of a Selecao. As for now, for someone who has no memories, I think he's a little too trusting. I'm a little shocked when he actually tells Pantsu about himself being a Selecao and there are 12 Selecao in total. Also, I find it even more shocking that Pantsu thought that there were 11 Selecao. Doesn't that mean that he already knew a little about Selecao?

I'm looking forward to the next episode. I’m sure Pantsu will produce something interesting with the phone. I only hope he won't backstab Akira.

Mini Summary
After having a nightmare about Shiratori ripping apart a Johnny, Akira wakes up to find Saki beside him. She reassures him that Oosugi is okay and she lies about having not seen anyone when she got to the hotel room. Meanwhile, Oosugi returns to Eden of the East, and he reveals that he was invited to a drinking party and his bag was stolen that night. Oosugi is still suspicious of Akira, and he tells the members that he won’t be joining them if they partner with Akira. On his way out, Oosugi happens to see Saki and Akira arriving together below him, he then takes a picture of Akira and uploads to Eden's program, hoping to find out his identity.

When Akira arrives at the Eden of the East, he notices on his phone that Shiratori has paid a lot of money to have all evidence at the hotel destroyed. The members want to ask him about what happened but instead, Akira asks them if they can repair a Selecao phone (which belonged to Kondo). Hirasawa suggests he go visit Itazu aka Pantsu, a computer prodigy, who has shut himself in his room for two years, and he sends Saki and Micchon with Akira to keep an eye on him. They eventually arrive in Kyoto and at Itazu’s home. He doesn’t open the door for them, but instead, talks to them through a peephole. When he sees Micchon and Saki, he asks them to buy some magazines for him. He then insists that he's too busy with all that’s been going on with the NEETs, Careless Monday, the prime minister, and etc, and so he has no time to entertain Akira. After Saki and Micchon leave, Akira arouses Itazu’s interest by telling him about Selecao and revealing that he is one, and Itazu eventually lets him in.

Meanwhile, back in Tokyo, Oosugi checks on Akira's picture and finds out that the users identify Akira by different names and aliases. He decides to investigate Akira’s shopping mall, and then he concludes that Akira is involved with something unthinkable.

Oosugi sees Akira with Saki again and he's jealous again.

Hirasawa advises Akira to ask Pantsu regarding his phone repair.

It's tough to deal with a hikikomori. I can understand why Micchon can't stand Pantsu.

Akira tells Pantsu about Selecao.

Pantsu (He's as weird as I imagine him to be >.>)

Akira's multiple identities
