Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Episodes 16 and 17

I feel so down after watching episode 16. Though Hughes is no longer around, his presence can be felt strongly and he's still in the mind of many characters. Elicia-chan is as cute as ever and I felt really sad when she told her mother not to cry.

As for episode 17, it was fun to watch Barry running amok in the prison. The whole escape scene, with Ling tagging along, was awesome. The role Barry is playing now, is totally different from the one he played in the first series. So far, I really like Barry's role and I hope he can stick around longer.

As for Mustang, he looks totally badass. I can't/don't believe that he killed Ross. I'm sure he must be hiding her somewhere. He's my favorite character and I believe he's not the sort who will kill a girl in such a brutal way.

What's Hot?
Ling gets arrested for being an illegal immigrant. - Poor fella!

When Ed and Al meet up with Mustang, he lies about Hughes' death as he can't bear to tell them the truth. However, soon after, Ed and Al learn the truth from Ross. (v.v)

Winry finds out about Hughes' death when she visits Gracia and Elicia-chan. Ed and Al also pay them a visit to apologize as Ed feels that he is to be blamed for Hughes' murder. (;_;)

Envy tells Lust about what Mustang is up to. Lust considers him to be an important human sacrifice candidate, and Envy comes up with a plan to stop Mustang's curiosity on Hughes' death. His plan is to make Ross the suspect for Hughes' murder. - Why is Mustang an important human sacrifice candidate? What kind of sacrifice are they preparing for?

Havoc meets up with his 'girlfriend' who is actually Lust. Her aim is to get military information out of him. - Lust looks so weird in this episode. She looks much older than Havoc. Havoc must be desperate!

During Ross' detention in the military prison, Barry launches a solo raid! On his way to rescue Ross, he also releases Ling, who promises to help him out. - Barry is so cool!

Ed and Al run into escaping Ross, Ling and Barry. Barry holds off the Elric brothers to allow Ross time to get away. Ed manages to get away and he's shocked to see Mustang and Ross' charred body. - Mustang looks so badass! However, I strongly believe he's just putting on an act.

Barry returns to his hiding place with Ling. Ling is able to summon his two bodyguards using smoke signals. - Barry and Ling seem to get along very well.

Ed gets dragged off by Armstrong under the pretense that they’re going back to Resembool to get his arm fixed, leaving Al and Winry behind. When Mustang hears about this, he smiles because it means that there are no more obstacles. - Hmm.. I'm really curious about what Mustang is thinking about.

Lust and Envy find out about Barry’s involvement in the prison break. Lust decides to employ a creature she calls Barry the Chopper. - Who is the real Barry the Chopper?!

What's Not?
None!
